Refund Policy

AutoCD customers agreed to the AutoCD End User License Agreement (EULA) when installing the product. This EULA contained Limited Warranty on Media and No Warranty on Software (the Warranty section is copied below). Per the Warranty, customers have a period of 15 days to return the defective media on which the Software is distributed for a good replacement if they discover a defect in the media during the 30 day period.

WARRANTY

LIMITED WARRANTY ON MEDIA

AUTOCD warrants that any media on which the Software is distributed shall be free from material defects for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the Software. If customer discovers a defect in the media during this thirty (30) day period, customer may return the defective media to AUTOCD within fifteen (15) calendar days of discovering the defect, and Customer's sole remedy shall be to have the defective media replaced.

NO WARRANTY ON SOFTWARE

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED TO CUSTOMER "AS IS". AUTOCD MAKE NO WARRANTY AS TO ITS USE, CONTENTS OR PERFORMANCE. AUTOCD MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, OR TERMS (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER BY STATUTE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, USAGE, COURSE OF DEALING, TRADE PRACTICE OR OTHERWISE) AS TO THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT FOR, AND ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT, ANY SUCH REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY CONDITION OR TERM MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN CUSTOMER'S JURISDICTION.

In rare instances AutoCD may, at our discretion, issue a refund if AutoCD cannot resolve a substantial issue where the product does not conform to the product's documentation. When AutoCD deems a refund is appropriate, the refund paid will be the purchase price minus the order processing and banking fees (5% of the purchase price). In such instances, AutoCD requires that purchaser to provide enough information for us to positively identify the original purchase transaction (e.g., order number, company name, date of transaction, purchase code, number of licenses purchased, etc.).
